Soleran meeting

Enjoyed a very good meeting with a client today to discuss their company's primary product, a CRM program offered online. Exciting stuff, as that can provide an affordable and widely networked system of managing sales and customer relationships -- something sales people can access on the road and will always be synchronized. Additionally, there's no upgrading or downloading the software, which is a nice benefit to an IT staff, especially if distributed over lots of satellite offices.

Discussions with Soleran are moving in the direction of some additional software testing and training support, and it's definitely a fascinating product. Looking forward to seeing the progression of this product and ORC's role in it.

Saturday morning Publisher

Well, this morning, I’m off to teach Publisher 2003 to a group out at Lee’s Summit. Looking over my materials, I am hoping to have time to swing by and pick up a box of donuts before I head to class… The last Saturday class I remember, one of the students brought a box and it seemed to give everyone that extra kick of motivation that’s sometimes needed on a Saturday spent indoors.

After that, it’s back to some site redevelopment, and hopefully a little hiking at a wildlife preserve in Kansas City.
