ORC Offices Closed for Break 4/6-8/2007

Wanted to drop a note to keep you posted... Just finished an Excel 2 / IC3 8 class out at the Summit Technology Campus in Lee's Summit. Since taking on the work with the BTC, juggling another ASP website project, filing the business taxes and working with a music industry client, things have been pretty nonstop. The break for the Easter holiday next weekend (no classes) will allow a good chance for catchup and R&R for the staff of ORC. Busy is good. But so is taking the occasional pit stop on the road to getting things done. It's easy to forget but hard to do without.

Metro College KC update

This week, in addition to my years as an instructor for the Metropolitan Community Colleges of Kansas City, I have accepted a position as a web developer for the BTC. Looks like a majority of the work will begin as HTML/CSS and ASP, but on down the road may shift to VB.Net for the new site. My work with regular training engagements will continue and should provide a nice balance of web work and instruction.

Here's to moving ideas forward.

On the Road,
Eric J. Reid
