Web Updates, Vacation Returns, and Some Sirius Blogging

Well, my schedule changed a bit this weekend, freeing me up to redesign one of my first sites from years ago. It was definitely due, and I was glad to be the one to bring it into the modern era. With a website being your lobby to the virtual world, it's good to keep it looking fresh.

Installed a search engine for the BTC this week, and got back into the swing of delivering Microsoft classes. Looking forward to the certification prep and Internet literacy classes later this month. Also subscribed to a new blog from an old marketing buddy, Curt Clark, regarding his adventures in satellite radio consumption. Check it out at siriuslydisturbed.blogspot.com. Especially cool to contrast with the music project I've been working on in recent months.

Metro College KC update

This week, in addition to my years as an instructor for the Metropolitan Community Colleges of Kansas City, I have accepted a position as a web developer for the BTC. Looks like a majority of the work will begin as HTML/CSS and ASP, but on down the road may shift to VB.Net for the new site. My work with regular training engagements will continue and should provide a nice balance of web work and instruction.

Here's to moving ideas forward.
